Energy is one of the basic resources necessary for the realization of all human activities. In the determination of the policies to be followed for the solution of a very complex and dynamic problem such as energy, international, economic, social, political, technical and technological relations should be taken into consideration as well as the realities of the country. For these reasons, countries can improve their existing energy resources, make the most of the resources available, increase energy conversion efficiency, apply new energy technologies, energy saving, environmental protection and security measures.
In the energy sector, production, conversion and transportation technologies are developing rapidly. The need to use the framework of sustainable development of energy resources in the world and Turkey increasing demand clearly demonstrates the Energy Systems Engineering.
As Energy Systems Engineering Department, our aim is to educate graduates who can identify problems in the energy sector and produce solution methods.
